Closing Weekend
I've put the script back on the site. This is the one we used to go into rehearsals. Since I had to go onstage with book in hand to replace an ailing cast member on our final weekend, I've discovered a few new things I'd like to try after our June 10 performance for my family reunion. However, I'm ready to start trying to pitch the script to community theatre groups or any others who'd like a loving laugh while pushing through the sadness of caring for a person with early-onset Alzheimer's disease. Any theatre that has a 65+ actor who is reluctant to perform because of the challenge of learning lines might really enjoy this play. Also, it's a lovely piece for a "seasoned" theatre couple.
