Did You Never Know Your Grandfather?

Working on a new Act II. As a child, I had 2 grandmothers, one grandfather, and 5 great-grandparents. I was close to my grandfather but our children never really knew theirs. My own father was stricken with Alzheimer's disease at a very young age. I can't say that I really had many meaningful adult conversations with him so I struggle to tell our children who he really was. Do you miss a grandfather you never knew? Do you imagine what he must have been like and the things you might have done together?
